The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in the community calendar for three days before the event. Events requiring reservations may be promoted for up to two weeks before the reservation deadline.

•Spaghetti dinner — 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, Lewistown Elks, 229 W. Third St., Lewistown. Benefits first responders. All first responders eat for free. Open to the public. Cost is by donation. Menu: Spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. Walk-ins accepted. Reservations preferred.

•Benefit auction — 8:30 a.m., Saturday, March 8, LUMINA Center, Lewistown. All proceeds benefit the support of free LUMINA Center programming for at-risk children and youth. The center is soliciting new and used items of value. Call the LUMINA Center with items to be donated at (717) 242-2888 or (717) 247-8430 or email luminacenter18@gmail.com by March 3. Smaller items may be dropped off at the LUMINA Center. Larger items can be picked up by LUMINA personnel by prior arrangement with the center. Will not be receiving any donations after noon on March 5 unless prior arrangements have been made.
