Woman cited with DUI

EAST WATERFORD — According to a report filed by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, Selena Fink, 46, of McVeytown, was charged with driving under the influence on Monday, Nov. 24. Police responded to a crash that occurred at around 4 a.m. on Route 75 South.

Police determined that Fink left the roadway on the right side striking a ditch and becoming disabled,

Fink was wearing her seatbelt and remained uninjured. The 2000 Chevy Silverado she was driving was towed from the scene by Geedys Towing.

Police investigating stolen debit card

LEWISTOWN — On Saturday, Dec. 7, Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown responded to a report of a theft at Walmart. According to the report, a debit card was stolen between 10 p.m. and midnight. The investigation is ongoing.

Man reported $75K stolen in crypto

McALISTERVILLE — Officers are investigating a report of theft that took place on Tuesday, Dec. 17 around 7:30 a.m.

The report states that an unnamed 56-year-old male was the victim of a $75,000 cryptocurrency scam. According to the report, the scammer was posing as a female on Tinder and persuading individuals to invest in a specific crypto app. Police said the app then prevents the user from withdrawing unless they continue to invest more funds.
