Police respond to Wayne Township theft

McVEYTOWN — According to a report from Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown, a 66-year-old McVeytown woman was the victim of a robbery that occurred sometime between Nov. 14 and Nov. 22.

Police said an unknown individual entered the basement of the victim’s home on Boozel Lane, Wayne Township, and removed frozen meat items and canned goods.

Police respond to criminal mischief

MIFFLINTOWN — On Dec. 4 Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown were dispatched to 190 Crawford Drive, Fermanagh Township, at around 2 a.m., where it was reported that a criminal mischief was taking place. The report states that a garage window was broken, but no information regarding the perpetrator was available.

Man charged with Megan’s Law violation

MIFFLINTOWN — According to a report, police charged Kyler Carvell, 27, of Mount Pleasant Mills, with failing to comply with Megan’s Law requirements after neglecting to report his new phone number to police.

The report states that Carvell came to the station on Monday, Dec. 2, at around 11 a.m. to report his new phone number, but officers determined he had the number since October.

Man cited for drug possession

LEWISTOWN — According to a report, Warren Price, 62, of Stormstown was arrested Sunday, Dec. 15 around 8 p.m. for an active warrant. During his booking a controlled substance was located on Price. Price was charged with drug possession.
