LEWISTOWN — Mifflin County native Kyle McNitt has earned his wings as a F-35C fighter pilot for the United States Marine Corps.

McNitt, son of Nate and Jennifer McNitt, of Lewistown, received them during an official ceremony on Sept. 27, 2024, for family and friends.

McNitt is a 2015 graduate of Mifflin County High School and a 2019 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering.

Currently, McNitt has achieved the rank of captain in the USMC.
