LEWISTOWN — Cosmetology students at Mifflin County Academy of Science & Technology will host their second Santa’s Beauty Shop on Thursday, Dec. 19.
“There is still plenty of room and time to sign up,” said Michelle Wagner, Academy cosmetology teacher.
This two-hour beauty shop experience will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. for children ages 3 through 10.
A cost of $30 per child for the event benefits Academy students to better their skills in the cosmetology field.
The proceeds from the beauty shop event go toward a two-day trip to a Hair Show in Seven Springs when the Academy cosmetology students will learn from experienced stylists and artists.
Included in the beauty shop experience are crafts, cookie decorating, coloring opportunities, hair styling, face painting, a makeup station and more!
