Police seeking information about road sign vandalism
BEAVER SPRINGS — Pennsylvania State Police at Selinsgrove are seeking information about the vandalism of three road signs that were vandalized near 462 Bailey Hill Road in Beaver Springs around 12:43 a.m. on Oct. 14, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Friday. Three 35-mile-per-hour road signs were damaged, police said. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information should call police at (570) 374-8145.
Female charged with
possession, trespassing
LEWISTOWN — Lewistown Police Department officers responded to 305 S. Pine Road, Lewistown, at 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 26, for a report of trespassing, according to a report issued on Friday. Officers said they found Nichole D. Krautkremer, 26, no address listed, who refused to leave the residence. Officers said they found Krautkramer in possession of cocaine and methamphetamine. The report said she was charged with drug and drug paraphernalia possession as well as trespassing.
Lewistown man charged with making threats, assault
LEWISTOWN — Devian A. Jiminez-Rounds, 27, of Lewistown, was charged with making terroristic threats and simple assault after he was involved in a domestic dispute at 2:07 a.m. on Oct. 27, according to a report issued by the Lewistown Police Department on Friday. Officers responded to 141 S. Pine Road, Lewistown, after receiving a report that Jiminez-Rounds had brandished a knife and threatened to kill his paramour after she locked him out of the residence, the report said. Police said Jiminez-Rounds fled the scene prior to officers arriving on scene but was located shortly thereafter in the Five Points area (Chestnut, Valley and East Market streets) and taken into custody without incident.

for public drunkenness
LEWISTOWN — Tate S. Young, 29, of Lewistown, was cited by Lewistown Police Department officers at 6:03 p.m. on Oct. 27, according to a report issued on Friday. Police said Young had shown up at the residence on McClintock Avenue, Lewistown, while highly intoxicated. The report said Young had apparently fallen and was not responsive to officers questioning him. Police said he was transported by EMS for minor injuries and excessive intoxication.
Police seek arrest warrant due to Megan’s Law violation
LEWISTOWN — The Lewistown Police Department obtained an arrest warrant for Steve Beward,, 38, not address listed, after receiving a request to investigate that he was no longer staying at his registered Megan’s Law address, according to a report issued on Friday. Police said Beward moved out of his listed residence on the 700 block of South Wayne Street, Lewistown, a few months prior. Police said Beward is a Tier 3 Megan’s Law offender after being convicted of indecent assault and corruption of minors on Feb. 25, 2020. The report said due to this, Beward is required to register for life with Megan’s Law. Police said officers followed up with a tip that he was staying on the 100 block of North Walnut Street; however, the residence was abandoned according to residents in the area and officer observations. Police said information was provided that Beward has been observed in the borough recently and anyone who knows where he is located is encouraged to call (717) 248-9607.

charged with theft
LEWISTOWN — Elise Dutcher, 33, of Lewistown, was charged with theft by the Lewistown Police Department after receiving a complaint that she stole from her prior employer located at 1219 W. Fourth St., Lewistown, at 11:59 a.m. on Oct. 28, according to a report issued on Friday. Officers reviewed video where she stole packs of cigarettes on Oct. 16, 2024, and Oct. 21, 2024, and she also stole cash from the store deposit on Oct. 21., 2024, the report said.
Bullard arrested for active
warrant for drug possession
LEWISTOWN — Eric Bullard, 25, no address listed, was arrested by Lewistown Police Department officers for an active warrant for drug possession after an officer observed him walking on Valley Street, according to a report issued on Friday. Bullard was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Mifflin County Correctional Facility, pending arraignment, police said.
