Driver transported to hospital after one-vehicle crash in Lewistown

LEWISTOWN – A 32-year-old Lewistown woman was transported to Geisinger Lewistown Hospital at 10:31 p.m. Friday after suffering minor injuries during a one-vehicle accident in Lewistown, according to a Public Information Release Report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown on Saturday. Rebecca Isenberg was driving a 2012 Jeep Liberty along Route 522 North when she failed to negotiate a left curve, lost control of her vehicle and eventually struck a utility pole, the report said. Police said her vehicle sustained disabling damage. Police said she was wearing a seat belt, and she was cited. Fame EMS transported Isenberg to the hospital, the report said.

Liverpool woman has items

stolen from vehicle

MIFFLINTOWN – Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown are investigating the theft of nearly $2,000 worth of items stolen from the 2016 Chrysler vehicle of a 51-year-old Liverpool woman, according to a Public Information Release Report issued on Saturday. The unidentified victim had parked her on Envision Drive in Fermanagh Township at her place of employment at 12:37 a.m. on Dec. 18 when the incident occurred, police said. Items included a white leather coach shoulder bag, wallet, remote, bank card, driver’s license and prescription eyeglasses, the report said. Police said there is a suspect.

McClure man life-flighted

MCCLURE – A McClure man was life-flighted to Geisinger in Danville after a one-vehicle accident at 1:51 p.m. on Jan. 17, according to a Public Information Release Report issued by Pennsylvania State Police at Lewistown on Friday. Harrison Capp, 87, was driving South on Route 522 when he lost control of his 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage and exited the roadway, striking a utility pole, police said. The report said EMS personnel suspected the crash was caused by medical reasons. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed.
