Perry County Council awards local artist

NEWPORT — Perry County Council of the Arts’ seventh annual juried exhibition is currently on display at Landis House, 67 N. Fourth Street, Newport, through January 28, 2022.

Featured artists include Juniata County residents Connie Bowsman, Mike McFarland, Jana Parks and Todd Tabb.

Tabb won second place in the 3D art category with his work, Raku Bottle.

Visitors to the exhibition may vote for their favorite work of art to receive the People’s Choice award at Landis House, as well as on PCCA’s Facebook page. Many of the pieces on display are for sale and can be viewed and purchased at perrycountyarts.org/exhibitions.

Landis House is open to the public on Fridays and the third Saturday of each month from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.. It will be closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2.
