Saturday, Sept. 18

¯Millerstown United Methodist Church fall bazaar — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., social hall of the church. Crafts, gifts and decorating ideas. Food including apple dumplings, soups, sandwiches, pies and cakes are available for purchase alongside drinks. Breakfast served to visitors and both breakfast and lunch are available in the cafe.

¯Shelter Services yard sale — 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at both locations, 13 Depot St. Lewistown, and 982 Parcheytown Road, Lewistown. 100 percent of the proceeds go toward supporting the homeless.

¯Benefit auction for Ronald McDonald House of Danville — 9 a.m., Juniata County Produce Auction site, Cedar Spring Road, Mifflintown.

Sunday, Sept. 19

¯A Day of Hope (Suicide Awareness) –9 a.m.-5 p.m., Hungry Run Distillery, Vira. Cornhole tournament hosted by Mid-Penn Cornhole, body weight bench competition, basket raffle (over 70 items). Food trucks including Chief Logan Lions French Fries and a barbecue truck, Hungry Run Distillery products. All proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Sucide Prevention. Free admission.
