PennDOT releases a work update

LEWISTOWN — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Juniata/Mifflin County Maintenance announces the following work schedule for the week of Aug. 2-6, weather permitting.

PennDOT said motorists should travel with extra caution in these and all work areas and be aware that due to the nature of highway maintenance and emergency work, crews could be working on any highway at any time of the day or night.

Juniata County

Sign upgrades: Various State Routes throughout the county

Bridge work: state Route: 3010 (Lions Park Road)

Shoulder cutting: state Routes 0074 and 3006 (Mountain Road); state Route 0075 (Honey Grove to Old Port)

Pipe replacement and trench patching: state Route: 0035 (Reeds Gap to Beggar Row)

Mifflin County

Bridge work: state Route 1003 (Siglerville)

Sign upgrades: Various State Routes throughout the County

Pipe flush: state Route 1002 (New Lancaster Valley)

Pipe replacement: state Route 2002 (Vira Road); state Route 2004 (Back Maitland Road).
