Officials say ‘yes’ to fund redistribution

Juniata Co. Commissioners approve SEDA-COG plan

MIFFLINTOWN – The Juniata County Commissioners approved an amendment to the “Professional Services Agreement” between the county and SEDA-Council of Governments to redistribute remaining COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program Grant funds and administrative services to those recipients who were approved for the original distribution.

Also Tuesday the commissioners approved the ‘Certification Statement – County Children & Youth Social Service Programs’ for the period of April 1, 2021 through June 30, 2021 as submitted by the Children & Youth Fiscal Department.

Other actions taken by the Commissioners were:

¯Ratified the CDBG-IDIS check as submitted by the Juniata County Planning and Community Development Department for $315.00 cb3 Solutions, LLC. Project Costs

¯Ratified payment of checks #61769 – #61855 in the amount of $136,677.33.

¯Approved payment of checks #61856 – #61890 in the amount of $74,973.82.

¯Ratified the Juniata County Hazardous Materials check for $120.00 Susquehanna Fire Equipment Calibration.

¯Reviewed the June 2021 departmental reports: “Assessment Reports” as submitted by the Juniata County Assessment Office; “Treasurer’s Report” as submitted by the Treasurer’s Office; “Juniata County Probation’s Monthly Activities Report” as submitted by Michelle A. Beaver, Chief Probation Officer; “Sheriff’s Monthly Report” as submitted by the Sheriff’s Office
