Perry County reaches 100 virus-related deaths

Perry County reaches 100 COVID-19 related deaths according to data released Tuesday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
In Mifflin County, 14 new cases were reported for a total of 5,204 cases with 176 deaths. There are 12,435 people fully vaccinated and 3,095 partially vaccinated in Mifflin County. Those who are fully vaccinated have either received a one-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine. Those who are partially vaccinated have only received the first dose of a two-dose vaccine.
Juniata County saw a low of two new cases in addition to one new death for a total of 2,074 so far with 83 deaths. There have been 5,594 people fully vaccinated and 1,790 partially vaccinated in the county.
Snyder County reported nine new cases in addition to one new death for a total of 3,532 cases so far and 84 deaths. The county has seen 9,458 become fully vaccinated and 3,787 partially vaccinated.
In Huntingdon County, seven new cases in addition to one new death were reported for a total of 4,929 cases with 129 deaths so far. A total of 12,434 people are fully vaccinated and another 2,739 are partially vaccinated in Huntingdon County.
Perry County had 10 new cases in addition to one new death for a total of 3,673 cases and 100 deaths. In Perry County, 9,743 people are fully vaccinated and 8,104 are partially vaccinated.
There are currently nine COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Mifflin County. Huntingdon County has two COVID-19 patients hospitalized with two in the adult intensive care unit. No Huntingdon or Mifflin County COVID-19 patients are using a ventilator according to the health department.
