Low case counts reported in Juniata County

Juniata County reported low COVID-19 cases compared to other counties after the weekend according to data released Monday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
In Mifflin County, 61 new cases were reported for a total of 5,190 cases with 176 deaths. There are 12,313 people fully vaccinated and 3,154 partially vaccinated in Mifflin County. Those who are fully vaccinated have either received a one-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine. Those who are partially vaccinated have only received the first dose of a two-dose vaccine.
Juniata County saw a low of 12 new cases for a total of 2,072 so far with 82 deaths. There have been 5,570 people fully vaccinated and 1,756 partially vaccinated in the county.
Snyder County reported 28 new cases for a total of 3,532 cases so far and 83 deaths. The county has seen 9,380 become fully vaccinated and 3,780 partially vaccinated.
In Huntingdon County, 49 new cases were reported for a total of 4,922 cases with 128 deaths so far. A total of 12,375 people are fully vaccinated and another 2,764 are partially vaccinated in Huntingdon County.
Perry County had 41 new cases for a total of 3,663 cases and 99 deaths. In Perry County, 9,665 people are fully vaccinated and 8,124 are partially vaccinated.
There are currently nine COVID-19 patients hospitalized in Mifflin County. Huntingdon County has three COVID-19 patients hospitalized. No Huntingdon or Mifflin County COVID-19 patients are using a ventilator, or are in the adult intensive care unit, according to the health department.
