1 new virus case reported Juniata County
Single digit COVID-19 cases confirmed in Mifflin, Snyder, and Perry County

Only one new case of COVID-19 was reported in Juniata County, according to data released Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
That new case brings Juniata County’s total to 2,091 since the pandemic began. Mifflin County had 17 new cases (new total 5,293), Snyder County had 12 new cases (3,603), Huntingdon County had seven new cases (5,024) and Perry County had 12 new cases (3,742).
No new COVID-19 deaths were reported locally.
A total of 13, 438 people are now fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Mifflin County. People are considered fully vaccinated when they’ve received a single-dose vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine.
In Juniata County, there are now 5,999 fully vaccinated, Snyder County has 10,196 fully vaccinated; Huntingdon County has 13,087 fully vaccinated and Perry County has 11,129 fully vaccinated.
Another 2,752 people in Mifflin County, 1,719 in Juniata County, 3,878 in Snyder County, 2,597 in Huntingdon County and 7,759 in Perry County are partially vaccinated. People are considered partially vaccinated if they’ve only received one dose of a two-dose vaccine.
In Mifflin County, there are seven COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized, although none are currently in the adult intensive care unit nor using a ventilator to assist with breathing. There are no hospitalized COVID-19 patients in Huntingdon County, according to the health department.
