No new deaths reported in local counties
Juniata and Snyder County report on single digit COVID-19 case counts

No new deaths in all five local counties according to data released Wednesday by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Mifflin County reported 12 new cases and no new deaths. The county is at 4,845 cases and 175 deaths so far. There are 8,292 people fully vaccinated, meaning they have received both required doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine or the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. There are 4,188 people partially vaccinated meaning they have received the first dose of the required two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna vaccine.
In Juniata County, only four new cases were reported with no new deaths. There has been 1,953 cases and 82 deaths so far in the county. There are 3,735 people fully vaccinated and 2,132 people partially vaccinated.
Snyder County reported eight new cases and no new deaths. Snyder County has had a total of 3,388 cases and 82 deaths so far. There are 5,882 people fully vaccinated and 4,009 people partially vaccinated.
Huntingdon County reported 15 new cases and no new deaths. There has been 4,629 cases and 127 deaths so far. The county has 8,030 people fully vaccinated and 3,535 partially vaccinated.
In Perry County, 16 new cases were reported with no new deaths. The county is at 3,315 cases and 90 deaths. There are 4,785 people fully vaccinated and 7,271 people partially vaccinated in the county.
Currently, in Mifflin County there are eight hospitalized COVID-19 patients and no COVID patients in the adult intensive care unit or using ventilators to assist breathing. In Huntingdon County, there are two hospitalized COVID patients and one COVID patient in the adult ICU according to the health department.
