No new cases reported in Juniata County
No new COVID-19 deaths reported across all five local counties on Monday

Low numbers of new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths were reported by all five local counties Monday, including Juniata County, which saw no new cases, according to data released by the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Juniata County’s pandemic totals of 1,797 cases and 80 deaths remain unchanged. In Juniata County, 814 people are fully vaccinated, meaning they’ve received both of the required doses, while 2,135 are partially vaccinated, meaning they’ve only received the first dose.
In Mifflin County, just three new cases were reported. There have been 4,537 cases so far in Mifflin County and 166 deaths attributed to the virus. There are 1,952 people to have been fully vaccinated so far and 4,337 partially vaccinated in Mifflin County.
Snyder County reported three new cases as well. So far, 2,958 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 78 have died from the virus in Snyder County. A total of 1,390 are fully vaccinated while 3,442 are partially vaccinated in the county.
Huntingdon County reported just two new cases, for a total of 4,149 with 119 deaths. A total of 2,394 people are fully vaccinated in Huntingdon County while 3,397 are partially vaccinated.
In Perry County, five new cases were reported, increasing the total to 2,841 so far with 82 deaths. There are 946 who have been fully vaccinated while 2,039 are partially vaccinated.
A total of 10 people are hospitalized in Mifflin County with COVID-19. Of those 10, two are in the adult intensive care unit while one is using a ventilator to assist with breathing. In Huntingdon County, three COVID-19 patients are hospitalized while one is in the ICU. No COVID-19 patients in Huntingdon County are currently using a ventilator, according to the health department.
