¯Warrant service — At 8:19 p.m. Sept. 29, police received a tip related to an active arrest warrant for Shelby Cornwell, 24, of Lewistown.
According to the report, police responded to a tip that Cornwell was to be at 12 Pannebaker Avenue, Lewistown. She was found at that address and resisted arrest. She was taken to Mifflin County Correctional Facility pursuant to the warrant and is faced with criminal charges for resisting arrest.
¯Possession of drug paraphernalia — At 5 p.m. Sept. 30, police responded to 301 Valley St., Lewistown, for a complaint of a suspicious female.
According to the report, police found Gabrielle Kriser to be under the influence of controlled substances and in possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed through Magisterial District Judge Jack Miller.
¯DUI — On Oct. 3, police responded to a crash at Valley and Pine Street in Lewistown. According to the report, police found William Coolbaugh, 62, of Burnham, intoxicated when he crashed his motorcycle. Coolbaugh was arrested for DUI and transported to the hospital for a blood draw.
¯Hit and run — At 9:21 p.m. Oct. 4, police responded to 229 W. Third St., Lewistown, for a reported hit and run.
According to the report, the driver’s-side mirror of a Chevy Silverado was knocked off by a passing vehicle, which was believed to be a U-Haul. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
¯Narcotics — At 3:19 p.m. Oct. 8, police assisted officers from Mifflin County Probation office with a search at 3 N. Grand St., Lewistown.
According to the report, Richard Marks IV was the resident at the property being investigated. Officers found multiple items used for the consumption and distribution of narcotics inside the residence. Marks was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
¯Drug possession — At 10:33 p.m. Oct. 10, police were investigating a report of a theft from 7 South Grand St., Lewistown.
According to the report, a resident suspected a guest staying at 144 Market Street, stole $300 when visiting the apartment. Police spoke to the accused, Connor Richard Houser, 20, of Mount Joy. Houser provided a fake name and date of birth to officers. Houser’s true identity was found and it was discovered he had active warrants in Lancaster County.
Houser was also found to be in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Houser was charged with one count of false identification to law enforcement, one count of possession of controlled substances and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
¯Domestic assault — At 8:19 a.m. Oct. 13, police responded to 324 Logan St., Lewistown, for a domestic violence incident.
According to the report, officers discovered Tyler Austin Rhodes, caused bodily harm to a female then fled prior to officers arrival. Rhodes surrendered to officers at the Lewistown Borough Police Department, 21 South Brown St., Lewistown, later that morning. Rhodes was transported to Mifflin County Correctional Facility after being arrested and will be charged with assault.
¯Traffic crash — At 1:37 p.m. Oct. 17, police responded to the 100 block W. Third St., Lewistown, for a traffic accident.
According to the report, Terry Harmon, 66, was driving a 2011 Honda, West on West Third Street. He stated a vehicle was stopped in the right lane. Harmon attempted to switch lanes the same time Armondo Martinez, 35, was attempting to switch lanes. Martinez’ vehicle then struck Harmon’s vehicle on the passenger side rear bumper. Martinez’ vehicle was towed from the scene.
