Local trick-or-treat nights set for this week
LEWISTOWN — With only one more week remaining in October, local children are anxiously awaiting the opportunity to trick-or-treat, heading out to show off their costumes in exchange for some sweet treats.
But when exactly is trick-or-treat this year? Well, it depends where you live. Most local municipalities that have announced trick-or-treating have decided it will take place on its traditional date — Halloween night on Oct. 31, which is one week from today.
But others have opted for other nights.
Below is a list of local municipalities and their trick-or-treat nights. The Sentinel made an attempt to reach out to the township or borough offices of each municipality in Mifflin and Juniata counties. If your municipality is not listed, it means we were not able to make contact with anyone from that township or borough.
