Editor’s note: The Sentinel offers nonprofit and other community organizations an opportunity to promote upcoming events for free in this community calendar for three days before the event. Events needing reservations also may be promoted for up to two weeks prior to the reservation date.

¯Port Royal Lutheran Church holiday bazaar — 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 13-14. 402 Market St., Port Royal. New handmade and slightly used Christmas and holiday items. Baked goods, including cookies, snacks and desserts. Saturday only, soup by the quart: chicken corn, ham and bean and beef vegetable. Frozen homemade, ready-to-bake mincemeat pie and caramel apple pie, $12 each. Mincemeat only $10. Soups, pies and filling must be pre-ordered by Nov. 5; call church office at (717) 527-4581 or call (717) 968-3816. Face covering is required and visitors should practice social distancing.

¯Soup sale — 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Milroy Hose Co. To order: 717-667-2388 by Oct. 12. Chicken-and-corn and ham-and-bean soups available. Cost: $5 per quart. If soup remains after filling orders, soup will be available for sale the day of the event.

¯Apple dumpling sale — 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Beaver Springs Fire Co. $3.50 each. Available in regular or sugar free. More information: admin@beaverspringsfire.com.

¯Litter clean up along the Canal House Walking Trail — 10 a.m.-noon rain or shine. Meet at the Canal House at the dead end of Old Route 22, Mifflintown. Hosted by The Juniata Watershed Alliance.

¯Ham pot pie sale — starts at 11 a.m. at the firehouse, 7748 State Route 655, Reedsville. $3.50 per bowl or $7.00 per quart. More information: (717) 667-6110.

¯Keystone State Muscle Cars cruise-in — 5-8 p.m. at Londonderry Restaurant, Milroy. Across from Rutter’s. Free event open to all.
