Lewistown Police Department
¯Domestic Assault–At 12:58 p.m. Aug. 23, police responded to 508 W. Fourth Street after an incident on US Highway 322 West in Lewistown. An investigation discovered a 27-year-old female had sustained injuries caused by Tyler Blaine Carolus. Carolus was taken into custody and charged with simple assault and harassment.
¯Motor Vehicle Crash–At 12:27 p.m., Aug. 26, police responded to the 600 block of W. Sixth Street for a crash. Officers arrived on-scene and found that a 17-year-old female had rolled her vehicle and sustained minor injuries. The vehicle struck a second vehicle owned by Robert Parchey. The female was transported by FAME EMS to Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
¯Terroristic Threats–At 9:40 p.m., Aug. 26, police responded to Locust Street in Lewistown, for a report of terroristic threats. Thomas Wilk, 31, of Lewistown, was found to have threatened violent harm upon a victim and was charged accordingly.
¯Domestic Harassment–At 7:30 p.m., Sept. 5, police responded to 129 W. Fourth Street for a domestic situation. Christie Yvonne Guzman and her sister, Tiffany Le’Gail Guzman, were both cited for harassment. Christie was arrested and taken into custody on a probation detainer.
¯Theft–At 8:40 a.m., Sept. 7, police responded to 219 Bratton Avenue, Lewistown for the theft of a mini bike. The bike is black with green accents and is believed to have been stolen sometime overnight. Anyone with information is requested to contact the Lewistown Police Department, (717) 248-9607.
