Local book sale to be held in support of library

MIFFLINTOWN — In an effort to support the Juniata County Library and community, the Friends of the Juniata County Library are holding a special book sale to raise money to purchase additional Chromebooks for the library to loan out. They are in high demand at this time as students need to be able to use full-screen computers for remote learning.

The Romantic Mystery Grab N’ Go Paperback Book Sale will take place Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the lower-level parking lot behind the library, by the Historical Society Archives. Signs will be posted.

Cost is $3 for a pre-assorted bag of 10-12 or more. Romance paperbacks or mystery paperbacks. Tell us which you prefer and we will bring you a bag or two (or three) of books right to your car.
