Officials approve offers for unsold properties
Commissioners take action during board meeting

LEWISTOWN – Mifflin County Commissioners took action on the following items during the board’s meeting Thursday:
¯Approved an offer on a Wayne Township parcel that is in the repository for unsold properties for $200;
¯Approved an offer on a property in Lewistown Borough that is in the repository for unsold properties for $150;
¯Approved an application for county aid from the 2020 liquid fuels allocation in Bratton Township for $2,242.78;
¯Approved a lease extension agreement with Williams Rupp Jr. for the District Judge 58-3-02 office for Sept. 1, 2020 to Aug. 31, 2030;
¯Approved purchase of service agreements for use, if needed by Mifflin County Children and Youth Services with: Diakon Child, Family Community Ministries, Topton; Professional Family Care Services Inc, Johnstown; Children’s Choice, Chester; Pathways Adolescence Center, Oil City; Perseus House, Erie; Clear Vision Residential Treatment Services, Montgomery; Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Services, Columbia; Pentz Run Youth Services, Dubois; Family United Network, Muncy; Law Offices of Stuart A. Cilo, Lewistown; David G. Ray, M.Ed., Lewistown; Cornell Abraxis Group, Pittsburgh;
¯Approved an agreement with West Virginia University for the Human Services Department of obtain an intern;
¯Approved the following personnel changes: Hired James Weaver as Veterans Affairs Director, effective Aug. 4; Hired Brandon Antoine as Children and Youth caseworker, effective Aug. 24; Hired Kyle Beasom as part-time 911 telecommunicator, effective Aug. 10; Appointed Ashten Miller as an unpaid intern, effective Aug. 18.
