Library-owned materials may be returned
LEWISTOWN — Both locations of the Mifflin County Library are now accepting the return of library materials to its book drops.
No fines or fees will be charged.
Patrons are advised not to drop off materials intended for donation to the library, only those items that were borrowed from the library.
Because materials must be quarantined and sanitized for the health and safety of customers and staff, the library is not yet ready to offer access and services, even on a limited basis.
Library staff continues to make plans to safely reopen buildings.
