Virus death reported in Snyder County
Second positive COVID-19 case confirmed in Mifflin County

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed Tuesday that a death in Snyder County was due to COVID-19.
The death is one of just two confirmed cases in the county, making Snyder the county with the least confirmed cases still reporting a death-by far.
It is unknown where in Snyder County the individual resides.
State health officials confirmed a second confirmed case in Mifflin countys Tuesday.
Juniata County remains at three confirmed cases, while Huntingdon and Perry counties remain at one confirmed case. Mifflin, Juniata, Huntingdon and Perry counties have not yet reported any deaths attributed to COVID-19.
As of press time Tuesday, the Pa. Department of Health reported 4,843 confirmed cases, including 63 deaths.
