¯Juniata County Food Pantry – McCoysville distribution — The Juniata County Food Pantry will hold a distribution of food and other groceries for families who live at the western end of Juniata County on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at McCoysville Presbyterian Church, 2562 McCoysville Road. To be eligible for ANY Juniata County Food Pantry distribution, families must live in Juniata County and meet certain income guidelines. Families must contact the Food Pantry between April 1 and 10 if they wish to attend this distribution. Appointments are required! ¯Good News Lutheran Brethren Church am pot pie dinner — Take-out pickup begins at noon. Across from East Juniata High School. The $10 meal consists of pot pie, slaw, roll, applesauce, drink and dessert. Quarts are $10. This benefits the Crossroad Pregnancy Center. To pre-order take-out, email GNLBPOTPIE@gmail.com.

¯Barbecue chicken and soup sale — 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Spring Township Car Wash building. Chicken quarters $3; Soup $5 per quart. Ladies Auxillary will have baked goods for sale. Proceeds benefit Beaver Springs Fire Company. This is the last sale of the year.
