¯Ham dinner fundraiser — 11:15 a.m. April 2, Lewistown Senior Center, 515 Knepp Ave. $7 meal comes with ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce, roll, and dessert with coffee and punch. Take-out meals will be ready by 10:45 a.m. Deadline to sign-up is Monday, March 23. Call (717) 242-1036 for reservations.

¯Juniata County Food Pantry – McCoysville distribution — The Juniata County Food Pantry will hold a distribution of food and other groceries for families who live at the western end of Juniata County on Saturday, April 18 at 10 a.m. at McCoysville Presbyterian Church, 2562 McCoysville Road. To be eligible for ANY Juniata County Food Pantry distribution, families must live in Juniata County and meet certain income guidelines. Families must contact the Food Pantry between April 1 and 10 if they wish to attend this distribution. Appointments are required! For more information about eligibility, or to sign up: (717) 436-9718. Please arrive by 10 and stay in your vehicle; the food will be brought to you.

¯Eggs sale — 9-11:30 a.m., 200 E. Third St., Lewistown. Eggs cost 80 cents and orders can be placed in advance. Peanut butter, coconut and buttercream eggs. Advanced orders can be placed by calling (717) 242-1539.

¯Senior gatherings — 9:30 a.m.-noon, Faith United Methodist Church, Main Street, East Waterford. Fun, activities, guest speakers and snacks.

¯Clothing and shoe donations — noon-3 p.m., Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth St., Lewistown. A volunteer will be there to assist.

¯Aerobics — 6-7 p.m., Hope Center, Bethel AME Church, Lewistown. Cost is $2 if not a member of the church.

¯Juniata Area Detachment of the Marine Corps League meeting — 7:30 p.m., American Legion, Mifflintown. More information: www.juniata687.org.

¯Good News Lutheran Brethren Church am pot pie dinner — Take-out pickup begins at noon, eat-in is from 4 to 7 p.m. Across from East Juniata High School. The $10 meal consists of pot pie, slaw, roll, applesauce, drink and dessert. Quarts are $10. This benefits the Crossroad Pregnancy Center. To pre-order take-out, email GNLBPOTPIE@gmail.com.

¯Benifit Bingo for William Smith–4 p.m. doors open, 6 p.m. bingo starts, Burnham Lions Club, Burnham. Smith is a 16 year old Mifflin County Student battling Cancer. Tickets are $20, Raffle Prizes, 50/50 and Concession stand available.

¯Square dancing — 7-10 p.m., Shermanata Grange, Duncannon. Food and drink available. Common Ground band, Larry Snook caller. Experienced and inexperienced dancers welcome.

¯Casino night — 6 -10 p.m., Juniata Valley Winery. $25 for 100 chips. Sponsored by Juniata County Republican Committee. Tickets are available at the door or by calling (717) 805-4336.

¯Barbecue chicken and soup sale — 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Spring Township Car Wash building. Chicken quarters $3; Soup $5 per quart. Ladies Auxillary will have baked goods for sale. Proceeds benefit Beaver Springs Fire Company. This is the last sale of the year.
