NWS: Juniata Valley expects 3 to 4 inches of snow this Saturday

Sleet, freezing rain also possible

LEWISTOWN — The National Weather Service in State College is forecasting most of the Juniata Valley to receive between 3 and 4 inches of snow Saturday.

The NWS also predicts a period Saturday afternoon during which a mixture of snow, sleet and freezing rain will fall.

Precipitation is predicted to briefly change back to all snow before ending Saturday evening. Most of the precipitation is expected to fall between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, according to the NWS.
