¯Mifflin County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees luncheon — noon, Dec. 13, Body and Soul Community Center, Strodes Mills. ¯Breakfast with Santa — 10 a.m., Dec. 21, Milroy Hose Co., Milroy. Santa will make an appearance at the breakfast. The menu includes Kringle cakes, elf eggs, reindeer sausage, Blitzen’s bacon Frosty’s milk, Cupid’s coffee and jingle juice. Proceeds benefit local families in need. Cost is a donation. ¯Bake and soup sandwich sale — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., St. Paul’s Reformed Church, 127 W. Walnut St., Beavertown.

¯ Christmas bazaar — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, Licking Creek, Mifflintown. Homemade soups, sandwiches, pies, apple dumplings, cookie trays, baked goods, homemade items, crafts and gift baskets. For more information, call Cindy Pontius at 717-436-8440.

Numerous vendors with many new products for the season, great food stands, kids activities and several raffles. There will be a gift wrapping donation station and a shuttle service to and from the top parking lot all day.

¯Brick Saturday — 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.

¯Christmas gathering — 10 a.m.-noon, East Salem United Methodist Church, East Salem. Cookie Walk purchase an empty box and fill it with cookies, $8.50. Soups and a variety of sandwiches for take out. Choice of sandwich $3.50, Quarts of soup $5.50, Pints $2.75. Proceeds from cookie exchange and soup and sandwich to support special projects and missions. Special craft and bake goods table, proceeds to support “Joyful Quilters.”

Sunday, Dec. 8

¯Ham dinner–11 a.m.-1 p.m., McClure Volunteer Fire Company, McClure. Dinner will consist of ham, browned potatoes, filling, gravy, assorted veggies and desserts. Prices are kids 5 and younger are free, 6-12: $5 and 13 and older: $9.
