¯Drivers Safety Class for age 55 and older–noon – 4:30 p.m., Nov. 25 and 26, Valley View Retirement Center Chapel, Belleville. Class will be held in the chapel basement. Instructor is Nancy Simmons. Monday, Nov. 18

¯Clothing and shoe donations — 8 a.m.-noon, Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth St., Lewistown. A volunteer will be there to assist.

¯Starting Your Own Daycare — 10 a.m.-noon, PA CareerLink Mifflin County, MCIDC Plaza, Building 58. An information session for anyone thinking about opening a daycare, either in a home or in a facility. Questions will be answered about the process, certifications required, and policies to follow as a childcare business owner.

¯Coffee with friends — 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Lack Tuscarora EMS, East Waterford. For seniors; no cost. There will be crafts, exercise, speakers and Bible study.

¯Juniata Valley Community Support Program of Mifflin, Huntingdon and Juniata counties–10:30 a.m., Mifflin County Courthouse Annex, West Third Street, Lewistown. CSP is a coalition of mental health consumers, family members and professionals working to help adults with serious mental health disorders, illnesses and co-occuring disorders live successfully in the community. All are welcome.
