No injuries in fire

Firefighters respond to a house fire Tuesday at 30 Druckemiller Drive in Decatur Township. Decatur Fire Co. Chief Mark Wolfgang said the fire started in the kitchen while someone was cooking. Wolfgang said no one was injured and there was no significant damage to the home, meaning no one was displaced as a result. According to the Mifflin County Emergency Dispatch Center, the call for the fire was received at 12:31 p.m. and Decatur Fire Co. was assisted on scene by Milroy Fire Co., East Derry Fire Co., Burnham Hose Co., Junction Fire Co., Reedsville Fire Co., United Fire and Rescue, Highland Park Hose Co., City Hook and Ladder, Granville Fire Co., FAME EMS and local fire police.
