Mifflin County woman to faces assault charges

LEWISTOWN — Breonna Weaver, 19, of Lewistown, is facing indecent assault charges after allegedly attempting to have sex with an 11 year old, according to Lewistown police.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, at approximately 6:50 p.m. on July 15, Lewistown police were dispatched to 120 Chestnut St. for a report of a sexual assault.

Police reportedly spoke with a witness when entering the residence, who said Weaver was attempting to have sex with an 11 year old.

Police brought Weaver in for questioning about the incident. Weaver allegedly claimed the 11 year old laid on top of her while being naked. She also reportedly stated this is what she does with all her boyfriends, but knew what she did was wrong.

Weaver faces a third-degree felony indecent assault, person less than 13 years of age, and a third-degree felony corruption of minors, defendant age 18 or above.

She is being held in the Mifflin County Correctional Facility, unable to post $50,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9 a.m. Aug. 21 before Magisterial District Judge Jack E. Miller.
