¯“Diggin’ The Past” Archaeology Day Camp — 9 a.m.-2 p.m., June 24-28, Greenwood Furnace State Park, at the Blacksmith Shop. There is a $30 fee per person to participate, including parents/relatives who participate with their children. Contact the park at (814) 667-1800 or email greenwoodfurnacesp@pa.gov for an application. The camp is limited to 15 youth participants plus adults. Camps are open to all who are 9 years old and up. Children ages 9 to 10 must have a parent, grandparent or other relative participate with them. Teachers can earn Act 48 credits.

Saturday, June 22

¯Indoor yard sale — 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Holy Communion Lutheran Church, Main Street, Yeagertown.

¯Middleburg Heritage Festival — 9 a.m.- 3 p.m., Fireman’s Field. Fishing derby, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.; registration at 9 a.m.; True Heart performing at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Chinese auction, fire truck rides from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. More than 40 vendors.

¯Benefit auction — 9 a.m., Mifflintown American Legion, 29 S. Main St., Mifflintown. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Danville.

¯Antique tractor show — 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tractor Supply Co., 84 Nelson Road, Mifflintown.

¯Keystone State Muscle Cars Cruise-in — 5-8 p.m., Londonderry Restaurant, Reedsville. All cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc., welcome. No fee.

¯Community picnic — 5 p.m., Wagner United Methodist Church, Route 522, a half mile north of the Point Store and a half mile south of the Back Maitland Road intersection. Festivities will include bluegrass gospel music by Bob Stong and the Country Boys, a camp fire with mountain pies, hot dogs, s’mores, side dishes and desserts. Bring a lawn chair and a side dish or dessert to share.

¯Rich Clare Pentagon Band performance — 6 p.m., Millerstown Park, 110 W. Juniata Parkway, Millerstown. Admission is $10 for adults, children under 12 free. Pentagon will perform three one-hour shows. If it rains, show will be moved to Greenwood High School. Attendees should bring chairs and blankets.

Sunday, June 23

¯Lewistown Community Band performance — 7 p.m., Milroy White Memorial Church, South Main Street, Milroy. Following the band concert, there will be an ice cream social in the fellowship hall. Bring a lawn chair and a friend. In case of rain, concert will be held in the fellowship hall.

¯Re-Creation Concert — 7 p.m., Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 E. Logan St., Reedsville. Re-Creation, a group of dynamic young people cited as “America’s Ambassadors to Hospitalized Veterans” will present a program of both religious and family-oriented music. No admission charge. A free will offering will be taken, which will go toward their veteran outreach ministry.
