¯“Diggin’ The Past” Archaeology Day Camp — 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 24 to 28, Greenwood Furnace State Park, at the Blacksmith Shop. There is a $30 fee per person to participate, including parents/relatives who participate with their children. Contact the park at (814) 667-1800 or by e-mail at greenwoodfurnacesp@pa.gov, for an application. The camp is limited to 15 youth participants plus adults. Camps are open to all who are nine years old and up. Please remember that those nine to 10 must have a parent, grandparent or other relative participate with them. Teachers can earn Act 48 credits as well.

Saturday, June 15

¯Clothing and shoe donations — 9 a.m.-noon, Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth St., Lewistown. A volunteer will be there to assist.

¯Clothing closet — 9 a.m.-noon, Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth St., Lewistown. Free soup and sandwiches available. This will be the last clothing closet until Sept. 7.

¯Shoe bank — 9 a.m.-noon, Grace United Methodist Church, Lewistown.

¯Juniata High School Class of 1966 breakfast — 9 a.m., Sal-Lee’s Dream, Strodes Mills.

¯Brick Saturday — 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Mifflin County Library, Lewistown, and Kish Branch Library, Belleville. Kids of all ages can come and play with Legos provided by the library.

¯Chicken barbecue — noon, Milroy Presbyterian Church, 321 S. Main St., Milroy. $5/half. Order: (717) 667-3438 or (717) 437-5818. Leave message if no answer.

¯Keystone State Muscle Cars Cruise In — 5-8 p.m., Londonderry Restaurant, Reedsville. All cars, trucks, motorcycles, etc., welcome.

Sunday, June 16

¯Father’s Day dinner — 10:30 a.m., McClure American Legion. Chicken and ham, homemade filling and mashed potatoes, carrots and corn, applesauce, desserts and drinks. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and children younger than 5 eat free. Raffle tickets will be sold at 1 p.m., you do not need to be present to win.

¯All-you-can-eat Father’s Day chicken dinner — 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Lack Tuscarora EMS building, 9320 Route 75 South, East Waterford. Menu: fried chicken, mashed potatoes, filling, corn, coleslaw, applesauce, dessert and beverages. Cost: Adults, $12 each, ages 6-12, $6 each, 5 and younger free.

¯Car show — noon-4 p.m., Locust Grove Retirement Village, Mifflin.

Monday, June 17

¯Coffee with friends — 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Lack Tuscarora EMS, East Waterford. For seniors; no cost. There will be crafts, exercise, speakers and Bible study, with light lunch provided.

¯Kish Class of 1968 monthly luncheon — 11 a.m., Burnham OIP. No reservation required.
