Kukorlo pleads guilty to 2 counts

LEWISTOWN — Sean Kukorlo, 37, of Allensville, pleaded guilty Tuesday to two counts and is scheduled to be sentenced in late June, according to court documents.

Kukorlo was charged in September with felony strangulation, misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, false imprisonment, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person as well as a summary count of harassment. Documents indicate Kukorlo threatened and held an acquaintance against their will and choked the acquaintance following an argument in Kukorlo’s residence. When the victim attempted to leave the residence, Kukorlo reportedly grabbed the victim’s arm, pulled them back inside the residence, pushed the victim onto the couch and put his hands around the victim’s throat. The victim later reported to police that Kukorlo threatened to kill them and punched them in the chest.

Police arrested and interviewed Kukorlo, who admitted to the assault, court documents state. Police reported Kukorlo said he has “an anger problem,” but he does not remember much about the incident.

Kukorlo pleaded guilty to strangulation and terroristic threats and is scheduled for sentencing on June 25 before President Judge David W. Barron.
