BELLEVILLE–The Belleville-Menno Union High School Alumni Association invites high school seniors who live in Menno or Union townships and are planning to further their education to apply for the organization’s scholarships by obtaining application forms from their school guidance offices.
The association plans to award two scholarships this year, and is expanding eligibility to include those from Menno or Union townships who are already attending institutes of higher learning.

Belleville-Menno Union High School served the Belleville area until 1957 when it was closed and consolidated with Armagh Brown High School to become Kishacoquillas High School. The brick school building, which housed all 12 grades, was located across from Abe’s Restaurant on East Main Street in Belleville.

McCOYSVILLE–Juniata County Food Pantry will hold its McCoysville distribution of food and other groceries for families who live at the east end of Juniata County 10 to 10:30 a.m. April 27 at McCcoysville Presbyterian Church, 2562 McCoysville Road.
To be eligible for distribution, families must live in Juniata County and meet certain income guidelines. Families must contact the food pantry between April 1 and 10 if they wish to attend this distribution.
