Board discusses routine business

REEDSVILLE–Brown Township Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer Raymond Burns addressed the Brown Township Supervisors during a routine business meeting on Monday night at the Brown Township Municipal Building.

Burns thanked the township office workers for their help as he’s adjusted to his position and addressed concerns he has with receiving prompt notification of building permits in the township. Following discussion, the board thanked Burns for his up-to-date work in the township and agreed to look further into his concerns following the meeting.

In other business, the board discussed implementing security cameras at the municipal building as well as purchasing a credit card machine.

The board also approved the following:

¯Bid awards for yearly supplies.

¯The minutes from the board’s February meeting.

¯Various bill payments.

¯Ordinance No. 2019-2 for a second addendum to acceptance and treatment agreements.

¯A donation of $100 to the Reedsville Fire Co.
