LUMINA Center to host a benefit auction

LEWISTOWN–The LUMINA Center will hold a benefit auction beginning at 8:30 a.m., March 2, 2019. Proceeds support free LUMINA Center programming for youth.

The center is soliciting new and used items of value. Clothing, exercise equipment and older TVs not accepted. Call the LUMINA Center with items to be donated at (717) 242-2888 by Feb. 22. Smaller items may be dropped off at the LUMINA Center in Lewistown. Larger items can be picked up by LUMINA personnel by prior arrangement with the center.

Coroner seeking

next of kin

LEWISTOWN–The Mifflin County Coroners’ off ice is seeking information on the next of kin of Kenneth Appleton, age 57. Appleton’s last known address is 22 West 4th Street, Lewistown.

Driver License Centers Closed for Holiday

HARRISBURG–The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Monday that all driver license and photo centers, including its full-service center in Harrisburg, will be closed Feb. 16 through 18, in observance of Presidents Day.

Customers may still obtain a variety of driver and vehicle products and services, including all forms, publications and driver training manuals, online through PennDOT’s Driver and Vehicle Services website,.

Driver and vehicle online services are available 24-hours-a-day, seven-days-a-week and include driver’s license, photo ID and vehicle registration renewals; driver-history services; changes of address; driver license and vehicle registration restoration letters; ability to pay driver license or vehicle insurance restoration fee; driver license and photo ID duplicates and driver exam scheduling. There are no additional fees for using online services.
