Sentinel photos by MATT STRICKER

ABOVE: Cindy Yoder, left, of Lewistown, emotionally talks about her son, Jason Yoder, and the overdose on crystal meth that lead to his passing in 2004. Holding the photo of Jason is Cindy’s daughter-in-law, Amanda French. Yoder was one of the speakers that stood up against drugs and addictions during a “Unity in the Community” rally held Saturday in Lewistown by IMPACT (Immediate Movement Promoting Awareness and Change Together). The group was founded by Frank Parker of Lewistown.

LEFT: Devin Reinhardt, of Milroy, talks about the many addictions he has had and the road to recovery. Reinhardt gives Jesus Christ all the credit for pulling him out of the darkness. The rally ended with a candlelight vigil.
