LEWISTOWN — The Wednesday death of a 7-month-old girl is being investigated by the Lewistown Police Department, according to a report issued Thursday by LPD.

Police were called to 142 Valley St. in Lewistown at around 2 p.m., Wednesday, regarding the death of an infant, according to the report.

Police said an autopsy of the girl was scheduled for Thursday at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital in Huntingdon and that the investigation will continue pending the result.

According to the report, no additional information will be released at this time.
