STATE COLLEGE – Dr. Hithem Rahmi, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon has joined the staff at Geisinger Gray’s Woods. Dr. Rahmi treats athletic injuries, hand and wrist conditions and knee, shoulder and elbow pain. He can also be seen for ultrasound guided injections.

Dr. Rahmi completed medical school and his residency at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2011 and 2016 respectively. He completed his fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery at Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in 2017. During that time, he worked with collegiate and professional athletes in the greater Los Angeles area from the Dodgers, Kings, Ducks, Rams, Sparks, USC and Loyola-Marymount.

He is a professional member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics and American Osteopathic Association.
