LEWISTOWN – One person is dead following an officer involved shooting at 5:24 p.m. on Wednesday at 2 Oakland Ave., in the borough.

The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the death of Charles Bossinger, 53, of Lewistown.

There were two officers from the Lewistown Borough Police Department involved in the shooting. No officers were injured in this incident.
