Gerald Peachey. Ever since Gerald Peachey moved into Valley View Village in 2014, he has served his neighbors. Every summer, he plants a huge garden and donates bushels of garden-fresh vegetables to his fellow villagers. He drives the Valley View van to off-campus events, providing transportation for those in the facility who have trouble driving themselves. He happily transports friends and neighbors to lunches, doctor’s appointments and outings. Over the last few years, he has also reached out to every person who lives alone in the Village and taken them to lunch. “He walks with God every day of his life,” his friend Eric Kurtz says. “I cannot say anything more.”
