REEDSVILLE — The Reedsville Creamery has expanded, and now offers an ice cream stand located at 19 S. Main St. in Reedsville.

The Reedsville Creamery Ice Cream Stand offers 12 flavors of hand dipped ice cream, five flavors of soft serve, hot fudge sundaes and milk shakes. The ice cream is made fresh and locally from the Reedsville creamery’s own milk.

Owner Loren Kauffman said the menu will expand by fall to include specialty burgers from Yoder Way farm in McVeytown, hot dogs and fresh cut fries.

“I enjoy creating experiences for people and I hope this is one the customers will enjoy,” Kauffman said.

The ice cream stand location offers a relaxing setting with a large outdoor seating area, ambient lighting and an abundance of flowers.

The addition of the ice cream stand was also a value-added business for the family farm in helping the farm remain sustainable.

“We are excited to be part of the growth in downtown Reedsville and the positive changes taking place there,” added. “We want to thank our local communities for their support and interest in local business and offering all the support they have to us.”

The Reedsville Creamery Ice Stand will be open from March to November, Wednesday through Friday from 4to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon to 9. Tuesday hours will be added in the future.

Follow them on Facebook and Instagram to see the coming new additions to the menu and changes to the hours.

For those interested in renting the space for private events and parties, that option will be available on Mondays in the future as well. For more information email loren@thereedsvillecreamery.com.
