PA CareerLink’s Goss now CPRW
LEWISTOWN — Workforce Specialist Sheree Goss, of PA CareerLink Mifflin County, has completed the rigorous examination to become a Certified Professional Resume Writer, a distinction Goss will use as she continues to help jobseekers develop strategies for their resumes, determine what skills they have to offer employers and feature those qualifications in a winning resume.
The CPRW certification identifies those professionals who have passed the demanding requirements set forth by the Professional Association of Resume Writers. The CPRW examination tests knowledge and understanding of the resume writing field, examinees’ command for grammar, punctuation, spelling and proofreading, and skills in strategic thinking on resume related issues.
Goss has been a Workforce Specialist in Lewistown for 25 years. Working under Title I of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Sheree provides customer-centered services to assist individuals in reaching their employment goals. These services include one-on-one help with job searching, resume writing, and interviewing, as well as connection to job fairs, training grants for tuition, on-the-job training and community resources.
In addition to Sheree’s new CPRW designation, Sheree is a Certified Workforce Development Professional with the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals.
