Pets Come First needs workers, volunteers
Have you ever dreamed of being able to work with animals? Do you want to help animals in need?
At Pets Come First we are looking for help. As with many other businesses right now, hiring has been quite a challenge. We are still hiring for a part time position in our cat area that will help with feeding, cleaning, and caring for the cats in our shelter.
This position is required to work at least one day on the weekend, and candidates must be highly motivated and conscientious.
We are also looking for reliable and dedicated volunteers that would be willing to donate four hours in the morning each week to help clean our cat areas, do dishes, mop floors, scoop litter, help with laundry, and more. Cleaning takes place from 8 a.m. to noon daily, and we need help all days of the week.
Once the cleaning is complete, then you can help the animals socialize and exercise. We are also looking for volunteers that can help process adoption applications, and meet with prospective adopters on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
If you are interested in any of these opportunities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (814) 364-1725 with your name and contact information. Our staff works tirelessly to help as many animals as possible, and they are looking for your help.
Not able to come to the shelter and volunteer, but want to help support Pets Come First? Check out our website at www.petscomefirst.net for other ways to help the animals of Central Pennsylvania.
Pets Come First is open to the public to visit with cats and small critters on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. Meet and greets with dogs are scheduled by appointment only for approved adopters. Adoption applications and information on adoption can be found online at www.petscomefirst.net/adopt.
