HARRISBURG — Ella Spriggle’s run in the 100-meter hurdles was perhaps the highlight for Mifflin County in two close Commonwealth Division track and field meets — both losses for the Huskies — Tuesday.

Spriggle ran the short race in 15.38 seconds, a school record. That was the first of her three individual firsts; she also won the 300 hurdles and the high jump.

Kiana Sechler was the only other multiple event winner among the girls. She was first in both horizontal jumps. Each team had one sweep — Mifflin Couunty’s was the long jump.

The boys, not surprisingly, got a lot of points in distance races, including a sweep of the 3,200.

Chayce Macknair (800, 1,600) and Logan Renninger (shot put, discus) both had multiple individual firsts.

The Huskies hosts Chambersburg April 30.
