Indians win big over Millersburg

From staff reports

MILLERSBURG — Chloe Zendt and Juniata showed early that it wasn’t going to be a close game in the Indians’ 51-23 win over Millersburg in Tri-Valley League girls basketball Monday night.

Zendt nearly outscored Millersburg, finishing with a game-high 21 points for the Indians — who didn’t score less than 12 points in any quarter of play.

“Chloe Zendt had an excellent offensive game for us. We scored in double figures each quarter and held them to single digits each frame,” Juniata coach Kevin Kodish said. “We will take a 28-point road win anytime.”

Mya Rush had both of the Indians’ 3-point goals.
