Mifflin County’s Alexis Maxwell returns a serve against Central Dauphin Wednesday in Lewistown.

LEWISTOWN — Without its No. 1 player in the lineup, Mifflin County struggled in another Mid-Penn loss on the tennis court, this time to Central Dauphin.

It’s not all bad news, the Huskies’ coach said.

“We are seeing improvement. Our kids are trying hard,” Glenn Kyle said.

No one scored more than one game win, but only one doubles tandem failed to win a game. Sydney Kyle won a game in both of her sets playing the No. 2 spot, the only player to do so.

Mifflin County (0-6) hosts the same non-league opponent as the football team on Friday — Hollidaysburg.
