Where do you think Gov. Tom Corbett should focus his efforts to cut state spending?

  1. Education
  2. Health care
  3. State government contracts
  4. Salary and benefits for state employees and legislators
  5. Cut nothing -- just raise taxes to balance the budget

Most states that have voted in repub Governor's once they get a chance to see what they are really after are changing their minds and showing their disapproval. Cutting Education is another way of keeping the people dumb...Educated people tend to be able to see through repub. lies and half truths !!!!

Education101 hit the nail on the head. We should be working to improve the standard of living for all working families; not trying to take something away from hard working public servants. Governor Corbett refuses to impose extraction taxes on the natural gas from the Marcellus Shale formation. These companies are contributing nothing to our state budget while exploiting our natural resources for free! They won't go elsewhere if we impose a tax: The gas is under our land; not somewhere else. Let's charge for our resources instead of hurting our neighbors and taxpayers.

Why do people want to take away what other people have, rather than try to figure out a way to achieve what they want for themselves?

Why do public employees think they can't be removed in budget cuts? Union protectionism is ending.
