Douglas S. "Peanut" Wray, 50, of Winter Haven, Florida, and formerly of McClure, passed away at 12:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014, at home, with his family by his side.
Born Sept. 20, 1963, in Lewistown, he was the son of Janet L. (Wray) and the late George S. Wray, of McClure.
He is survived by: his wife, Jody (Miller McKibben) Wray, whom he married on June 25, 1999; children, Jessica Snyder and husband, Zachary, of Winter Haven; Douglas (JR) McKibben Jr., and Samuel D. Wray, at home; grandchildren, Kayden Snyder and Jayden Snyder; a sister, Denise Hess and husband, James, of McClure; a sister-in-law, Bonalea (Loht) Wray, of McClure; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy L. (Shanty) Wray and Russel J. Wray.
He was a 1981 graduate of Chief Logan High School. He was previously employed by Wray Brothers Lumber, American Hickory Corporation and Tuscarora Hardwood. He was currently employed by Coca Cola, in Auburndale, Florida.
Peanut enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his family.
A Celebration Of Life of Peanut will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at his residence.
